Do you remember back in April "American Idol" had the "Idol Gives Back" show? The opening number was incredible. Not only was it the last of the AI crew but past contestants on "So You Think You Can Dance" were all over the stage getting their groove on. The song was one of Rihanna's (which you can never sit still to any of her beats) but to have the SYTYCD peeps all over the stage was so much fun to watch! ...So much fun in fact that...I still watch it. :X I can't delete it! I should delete it. I know. I only watch the first 4 minutes of it and it's taking up a precious 2 hours on my tivo. I could keep full seasons of BG and Dr. Who on there plus multiple episodes of Survivorman but I love it so. My children now love it too. It's a great motivation for all of us to start cleaning and having a good time doing it.
I tried downloading their version of the song from Itunes but listening to it is not the same so I then tried watching it on my computer while cleaning but it's not the same.
So this week I'm going to videotape my kids getting their groove thing on while the video is playing. Then you can see why as goofy as it is it's still my guilty pleasure to listen and watch. :D

It's okay, Rustie, I have several American Idol and SYTYCD episodes on my Tivo too and only watch either one performance or dance on each one. Hey, when they're good, they're good. At least you're watching them! HA HA.
And I look forward to the upcoming video of the kids shaking it! I'm sure my kids will watch it a hundred times over and over. Cheap, clean entertainment. I love it! :0)
I am so out of the American Idol loop, I haven't watched tv in months. We don't have television (just movies) and I don't miss it at all!
